Erik Bolinder is a trusted advisor and advocate for emerging companies, developers, and entrepreneurs in Idaho. Having been involved in his own startup companies, he understands the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in their early stages and is passionate about helping them achieve growth and success. His practice encompasses a wide range of areas, including entrepreneurship, business development, mergers and acquisitions, private securities, agribusiness, commercial real estate transactions, and land-use planning.

Erik brings a unique blend of legal expertise and practical business acumen to his work. His experience includes serving as chief legal counsel for a private Idaho-based commercial investment company, where he managed complex legal matters involving over two billion dollars worth of commercial property. He also has a strong background in complex litigation, having previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri and as a commercial litigator for a St. Louis area law firm.

  • Retail Food Franchise Acquisition and Sale

    Erik helped a client acquire several retail food franchises, negotiating purchase agreements, franchise documents, and financing. He later assisted the client in successfully selling the franchises to another entrepreneur.

  • Share Dispute Defense

    Erik successfully defended a light industrial company and its owners in a share dispute brought by a key employee, obtaining a complete dismissal of all claims and an award of attorney fees.

  • Agricultural Processing Facility Development

    Erik assisted a client in preparing a private investment offering and forming business entities for the development of a multi-million-dollar agricultural processing facility. He also negotiated development and construction agreements and guided the client through the zoning and entitlement process.
